The human being is a creature who yearns for liberty. It is their right that no one should have any influence over their actions. Humans can cooperate, but stopping others for any reason is considered an offense.

However, it has been observed in our societies that those in positions of authority constantly try to interfere and influence the lives of those who report to them. For example, the press faces numerous challenges in conveying the true picture of any event.

UNESCO makes recommendations regarding issues confronting journalists, reporters, and news anchors. The United Nations General Assembly then declared May 3rd as International Press Freedom Day. The purpose of commemorating this day is to ensure that everyone who works in the media has the freedom to express themselves freely, as well as to pay tribute to journalists who have died in the line of duty.

The press shapes people's minds in large part. The news is now heard by a large proportion of the world's population. As a result, if the media provides incorrect information, whether intentionally or unintentionally, it can cause serious public tension. The media is frequently influenced by political interference.

On all platforms, any interference with the right to free expression should be avoided. And the perpetrators should be imprisoned in order to provide accurate and timely reporting to the public. Support the UN's stance and do your part to ensure freedom of expression in the countries, not just for the press but also for the general public.
