General FAQs

How do I get started?
If you have never signed up for a Drupal.org account you will want to create one using the “register” link in the upper right hand corner of the page. Once you create your account and login, you can follow the links on the login landing page to get you started.

How do I log in?
You can log in to Drupal Jobs by clicking on the login link in the upper right hand corner of the page and entering your Drupal.org credentials.

How do I use search/filters?
Filters are useful tools in helping to focus your job seeking. Use the filters on the right side of the job listing feed to exclude jobs that may fall outside of your job requirements.

Is this a free service?
Drupal Jobs is free for users who are looking for and applying for jobs. Posting a job or setting up a Branded Company Page does have a cost associated which can be found here once logged in: https://jobs.drupal.org/store . There is currently no additional tax/VAT added onto the prices listed in the Drupal Jobs Store.

Revenue from the site goes to funding the maintenance and continued development of Drupal.org.

Job Seeker Questions

How do I create a job seeker account?
To create a job seeker account, the first thing you will want to do is register for a drupal.org acount in the upper right hand corner of Drupal Jobs. Next, once your account is created, ensure you are logged into the site and then click on "My Account" in the upper right hand corner of the page. Click on “Job Seeker Profile,” then click “Edit.” Fill in all of the appropriate feels with your work experience and job seeking information and click “Save.”

How do I edit my profile?
Ensure you are logged into the site and then click on "My Account" in the upper right hand corner of the page.

How do I add a resume?
Ensure you are logged into Drupal Jobs and then click on "My Account" in the upper right hand corner of the page. From there, click on “Job Seeker Profile,” then click “Edit.” Near the bottom of that page is a file upload prompt. Click “Choose File” and then once you have selected the correct file from your computer click “Upload”. Once you have successfully uploaded your resume (preferably in PDF format) click “Save” at the bottom of the Job Seeker Profile edit page.

How do I apply for a job?
To apply for a job, simply click on a job listing and follow the instructions listed in the “How to apply” section of the post. The application process will take you off of the Drupal Jobs Site. All applications are processed external to Drupal Jobs. Drupal Jobs does not store applications.

How do I look at an employer’s available jobs?
If an employer has a Branded Company Page you can click on their name in one of their job posts to get to that page. Each Branded Company page displays a list of all of the active jobs posted by that company.

Employer/Recruiter Questions

How do I create an employer account?
Ensure that you are logged into Drupal Jobs. Once logged in, click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of the page. Navigate to “My Companies” in the bar that appears beneath your name in your profile. Click “Add a New Company” and fill in the required fields.

How do I edit my Branded Company Page?
Ensure that you are logged into Drupal Jobs. Once logged in, click on "My Account" in the upper right corner of the page.

How do I get a free listing coupon?
Occasionally, free listing coupons will be sent out to the community. Sign up for a Drupal Jobs account (if you don’t already have a drupal.org or Drupal Jobs account). If you already have one, just log in to Drupal Jobs to make sure your account is syncd across Drupal.org and Drupal Jobs, and keep an eye on your inbox.

How do I create an open position?
Ensure that you are logged into Drupal Jobs. Once logged in, you can click the Post a Job button to get started. If you have unused credits you will be able to post a job right away (assuming you have already created or been associated with your company) if you need to purchase credits, please click “Buy More Credits” to head to the store and start the process.

Will my credits expire?
No, they will not.

How do I get my job posting featured?
Directions and the process for for getting your job posting featured can be found in the Drupal Jobs Store.

How do I review applications?
Applicants will be applying through your channels based on the instructions you provide when you post your position. Drupal Jobs does not store applications for review in any way.

How do I find candidates?

Employers and recruiters with active job listings will see a tab at the top of the homepage that says "Search Job Seekers". This tab will display all Job Seekers who have opted into having their profile visible in search. The filters on the right will help narrow down the results until you find your ideal candidate.

How can I communicate with candidates?

Employers and recruiters with active job listings will be able to contact Job Seekers who have opted into being contacted by potential employers (a checkbox they can check at the bottom of their Job Seeker profile).
