We’re looking for someone who wants to grow within the Drupal ecosystem — learning best practices, contributing to real projects, and becoming part of a global open-source community.
About the Role
This is a learning-by-doing position under the Drupal IXP Program.
You’ll start by assisting with maintenance tasks — updating modules, testing patches, improving configurations, and fixing small issues — all under the guidance of experienced Drupal developers.
As you gain confidence and understanding of the Drupal way, you’ll gradually move into more complex projects: building custom modules, working with APIs, and shaping complete site features.
While the IXP mentions 160 hours of work (a full month) we intend this to be at least a 6 month contract with possibilities of extension.
What You’ll Do

Support ongoing Drupal site maintenance (updates, debugging, and testing)

Learn Drupal best practices in real-world environments

Collaborate with mentors to plan and execute small development tasks

Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions

Contribute to improving documentation and internal processes
What You’ll Learn

Drupal architecture, site building, and module development

Theming and front-end integration

Git workflows and deployment processes

Working with Drupal’s API and modern PHP development practices

How open-source collaboration works — from issue queues to community contributions
What We’re Looking For

A foundation in HTML, CSS and programming (either PHP or JavaScript,ideally both).

Curiosity, responsibility, and willingness to learn continuously

Basic understanding of CMSs (any CMS experience is a plus!)

Good communication and teamwork skills

A genuine interest in becoming part of the Drupal community

English knowledge is important, but not exclusive. The basic is reading capabilities. Spoken is a plus!
